Plisson 1808 Solid Brass Palladium Mach3 Razor

DESCRIPTION

This classic design razor, very simple but refined, is handcrafted from solid brass covered with a layer of bright Palladium, a white, stainless metal of the platinum family. Relatively heavy but well balanced, it is characterised by its thin, round handle with four grooves at the end.

It is offered with two different types of heads: 

• the safety head with an open comb (notched), rather reserved for experienced users, with a hard and/or difficult beard, 
• and the Gillette Mach3 head, which is precise and efficient in all circumstances. 

This razor comes beautifully packaged and can be complemented with the matching shaving brush and holder. It is handmade and assembled in France.

HOW TO USE IT

We recommend shaving in the morning, just after showering and before breakfast. With the humidity, the hairs become softer and easier to cut, and your skin is sensitive to the passage of the blade.

Wet the shaving brush with warm water, load it with soap or shaving cream, then apply the resulting foam to your wet face, using circular motions to straighten the hair. The use of "shaving preparation" products has a double objective: it helps moisturise the hair and protects the skin from the aggression of the blade.

Shave in the direction of the hair, limiting the number of passes of the blade to avoid irritation. If you wish to make a second pass, re-sweep your face and shave, this time in the opposite direction of the hair: the result will be cleaner and the skin less irritated. Rinse your face with cool water and apply an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin.

The day can now begin!

MAINTENANCE

Check the sharpness of your razor blade and replace it if it is worn. After shaving, clean the razor with hot water to remove hair and other residues (shaving cream, soap, etc.) to prevent the growth of bacteria on the blades. When cleaned properly, the blade will retain its sharpness and effectiveness for longer, giving you real pleasure while shaving.
